JOY SOTTO AND DANICA SOTTO – The cousins-in-law recently shared how they handle their weight insecurities in their 40s.

The cousins-in-law are both married and hands-on moms. Joy has 6 children with her husband Gian Sotto, while Danica has 3 children with her husband Marc Pingris.

Danica Sotto shared in an interview with PEP.ph that she’s having insecurities once in a while but it’s not as bad as when she was younger when she would really beat herself up. According to her, there’s always room for improvement.

Joy Sotto, for her part, also conceded having some insecurities that crop up from time to time. However, she said that it’s not anymore as much in her 40s as when she was in her 20s and 30s.

She shared that people have been through a lot of experiences in life and they’re more content when they’re in their 40s. According to her, she and Danica are more content but there’s still some insecurities, especially as a mother.

Aside from this, Joy and Danica also stressed the importance of prioritizing self-care early on.

Danica said that she thinks people won’t be chasing anymore if they already knows how to eat well, how to exercise, and how to self-care in their 20s and 30s. She also said that people should train their body in order to have discipline so they won’t have a hard time when they’re in their 40s.

Joy, for her part, advised taking care of their inner self, saying that her advice to those who are in their 20s and 30s is to focus more on the inside because it “will reflect more on the outside”. According to Joy, people should be content with what God has given them and just have gratefulness in their life.
