HOW TO WITHDRAW YOUR PAG-IBIG FUND SAVINGS / CONTRIBUTIONS – Here is a step-by-step guide for members on the withdrawal process.

Millions of people in the Philippines are members of the Pag-IBIG Fund. Many of the member populace of the state-run entity are locally-employed individuals as it is mandated in the government and in most business and companies in the private sector in the country.

To maintain an active account to the Fund, members must submit a monthly contribution which depends on the rate set by the state-run entity. An updated account may qualify a member to the Pag-IBIG loans and the other services that the state-run entity offers.

Keeping an account to the Pag-IBIG Fund active does not only widen a member’s resources with the loan options it provide. There are also cases when a member is allowed to withdraw the savings prior to the maturity or retirement.

How to withdraw your Pag-IBIG savings or contributions? The process may vary on a case-to-case basis as well as the requirements that you need to submit. The Fund allows the withdrawal of savings under the following cases:

  • Optional Withdrawal after having posted contributions for at least 15 years
  • Membership Maturity after having posted contributions for at least 20 years
  • Retirement & Optional Retirement
  • Disability
  • Separation from Work due to Health Reasons
  • Permanent departure from the Philippines
  • Death

Step 1 — Prepare a valid ID as well as the Application for Provident Benefits (APB) Claim Form and other requirements. The list of documentary requirements depend on the purpose of withdrawing the savings. For optional withdrawal and maturity of membership cases, prepare the following:

  • Original copy of Application for Provident Benefits (APB) Claim (HQP-PFF-285)[1] 
  • Photocopy of Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card Plus or one valid ID of the member

Step 2 — Submit the documentary requirements to Pag-IBIG Fund. The state-run entity will review your application for savings withdrawal.

Step 3 — Wait for the feedback from the Pag-IBIG Fund. Once your application for the withdrawal of your savings has been approved, you may process the release of your savings online.

Step 1 — Download, print, and fill out the Application for Provident Benefits (APB) Claim form. 

Step 2 — Scan or take a photo of the filled-out application form and all the required documents. Save all the scanned files or images on a drive that you can easily access online.
