PAG-IBIG SAVINGS WITHDRAWAL REQUIREMENTS – Listed below are the documents needed in applying for savings claim due to critical illness.

One of the biggest government agencies in the country that serves thousands of people daily is the Pag-IBIG Fund. It has several offices across the nation as well as an online platform which are modes of the delivery of its services to its members.

There are also cases of voluntary memberships to the Pag-IBIG Fund. Most often, these voluntary cases of maintaining an active and updated account to the government agency are from the following grounds or situations:

  • non-working spouse of registered Pag-IBIG members
  • pensioners, investors, and individuals with passive income
  • religious group and leaders
  • Filipino employees of foreign government or international organization
  • public officials and employees without GSIS coverage

The Fund members who have active and updated memberships may qualify to the loans offered by the government agency. One of the offers is the Pag-IBIG Housing Loan 2023 that can finance the purchase of a residential property, house construction, home renovation, and existing home loan take-out. It is also open for combined purposes now related to residential properties.

There is also the Pag-IBIG Calamity Loan that members may turn to in times of natural disasters. Members may also apply for the Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan in times of need for cash to be used in multiple purposes.

A member may also withdraw his or her savings under certain cases like upon the diagnosis of a critical illness. There are Pag-IBIG savings withdrawal requirements that the member must prepare and submit to the Fund to process the claiming of the premiums.

If it is the member himself/herself who was diagnosed with a critical illness, here are the Pag-IBIG savings withdrawal requirements:

  • Application for Provident Benefits (APB) Claim (1 Original)
  • Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card/Loyalty Card Plus or one (1) valid ID of the member (1 Photocopy)
  • Physician’s Certificate/Statement (With Clinical or Medical Abstract) (1 Original)
  • SSS Employment History (as applicable) (1 Photocopy)

The Pag-IBIG Fund member may also claim his/her savings when an immediate family member is diagnosed with a critical illness. Here are the Pag-IBIG savings withdrawal requirements if it is the family member who is sick:

  • Application for Provident Benefits (APB) Claim (1 Original)
  • Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card/Loyalty Card Plus or one (1) valid ID of the claimant (1 Photocopy)
  • Physician’s Certificate/Statement (With Clinical or Medical Abstract) (1 Original)
  • SSS Employment History (as applicable) (1 Photocopy)
  • To establish kinship with the immediate family member, the member shall submit any of the following:
    • Marriage Certificate issued by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)/National Statistics Office (NSO) or Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) and
      Advisory on Marriage issued by PSA/NSO of the member (1 Photocopy); and
    • Birth Certificate issued by PSA/NSO or LCRO or Baptismal Certificate (as applicable) (1 Photocopy); or
      • Non-availability of Birth Record issued by PSA/NSO (1 Photocopy) and Joint Affidavit of Two Disinterested Persons (HQP-PFF-029)
