Alfred Vargas on his wife’s ordeal before giving birth to their 4th child
ALFRED VARGAS – The actor-politician recently revealed his wife’s ordeal before giving birth to their fourth child.
It can be recalled that his wife Yasmine announced last January 1, 2024 that she gave birth to their fourth child named Aurora Sofia E. Vargas last December 26, 2023.
He narrated the struggles that his wife went through before giving birth to their fourth child in an interview on DZRH.
According to the actor-politician, what happened to them at that time was like they were trapped in the high-risk pregnancy unit – the ICU that is equivalent of a hospital for pregnant women – and they were only there for almost one month.
Alfred explained that his wife was already experiencing a lot of contractions “kahit hindi pa term”, adding that his wife has a lot of medical issues that they have to watch out for. He also said that the hospital is far from their house.
“Kasi Novaliches kami, tapos St. Luke’s BGC, ang layo na anytime puwede siyang manganak, ha? So, every day, hindi namin alam kung mangaganak siya o hindi,” he said. “So, we’re just praying na sana… nung una umabot ng 28 weeks… Kasi as early as 18 o 20 weeks nagkakaroon na siya ng premature contractions at saka funneling.”
The actor-politician shared that his wife gave birth after 36 weeks and 3 days and they left the hospital a few days after welcoming their fourth child.

Alfred also said that he and his wife bonded a lot in the almost one month they were together at the hospital. According to him, he got to know his wife better and was also impressed by the courage she showed
Aside from baby Aurora Sofia, Alfred and Yasmine also have three children named Alexandra Milan, Aryana Cassandra, and Alfredo Cristiano Vargas IV.
