Marco Gumabao talked about his “unexpected” love story with Cristine Reyes
MARCO GUMABAO – The actor recently shared how his “unexpected” love story with actress Cristine Reyes started.
After going public with his relationship with his girlfriend Cristine Reyes earlier this year on social media, the actor shared that his relationship with the actress turned out to be the best surprise of his life.
He said this during the Cathy Valencia Skin Clinic 18th anniversary and thanksgiving birthday celebration held in Pasay City.
According to him, everything was “very unexpected”, nothing was definitely planned, and everything just happened naturally.
“Kasi nag-start kami working out together. Kasama pa nga namin si Jake Cuenca eh. Like exactly a year ago. So wala talagang plans, anything to get into an intimate relationship,” the actor said. “Kumbaga everything just happened naturally and yun nga, kumbaga, wala, ganun naman ang love di ba? Mabibigla ka na lang. You don’t plan.”
The actor also admitted that his attraction to his girlfriend was already there even before they both started hanging out at the gym.
Although Marco and Cristine won’t celebrate their first anniversary until early next year, the actor said that he’s happy with what he has already discovered about his partner.
He went on to describe his partner as “sobrang maalaga”, saying that they both care about each other and putting God in the center of their relationship is the most important thing for them.
The actor also said that there will always be bumps along the road but one’s relationship will be stronger than ever as long as one is intertwined with God.
To recall, Cristine Reyes said in an interview with actress Bea Alonzo last June that Marco Gumabao is the type of partner who understands her at all cost. She also said that her boyfriend is the “perfect boyfriend”.
