ANNABELLE RAMA – The mother of Richard Gutierrez threw shade at his son’s wife Sarah Lahbati.
Richard Gutierrez is an actor, model, and television personality. He comes from a family with a strong connection to the entertainment industry. He is the son of actor Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama, a talent manager. Richard gained popularity for his roles in various television dramas and films.
On the other hand, Sarah Lahbati is a Filipino-Moroccan actress, model, and beauty queen. She gained recognition after winning the reality talent competition “StarStruck” in its fifth season. Following her victory, Sarah embarked on an acting career, appearing in television shows and films.
The two got married in Taguig last March 14, 2020. Together, they have two sons, Zion (born 2013) and Kai (born 2018).
Richard and Sarah are rumored to have broken up after being absent from their respective posts on social media. Sarah was even absent during Annabelle’s birthday celebration last October 2023, as well as during the baptism of his brother Rocky’s daughter, Athena.
This speculation gained traction after Richard was romantically linked to “Abot Kamay na Pangarap” star Kazel Kinouchi. The rumors started after they were captured together at Ayala Alabang last Halloween. In the photos, Richard, accompanied by his children Zion and Kai, was spotted riding a white pickup truck, with Kazel allegedly emerging from the vehicle. However, Kazel refuted the rumors linking her and Richard. In a TikTok live session, she emphasized that she and Richard are just neighbors.
In an interview with MJ Felipe, Annabelle Rama answered some questions regarding her son Richard Gutierrez, and his wife Sarah Lahbati. Although she did not directly confirm if the two have separated, she mentioned that Richard is now staying with her.

“Hindi pa ko pwede magsalita eh pero sasabihin ko sa ‘yo, si Richard na sa akin ngayon,” she said. When asked if it’s true that Sarah is extravagant, Annabelle did not mention any names. “Nakikita mo naman ‘diba?… Si Richard trabaho nang trabaho, ‘yung isa nagwawaldas ng pera. ‘Yun lang ang masasabi ko diyan.”
