Jane de Leon spoke about her friendship with Janella Salvador
JANE DE LEON – The “Shake, Rattle, and Roll Extreme” actress recently spoke about her friendship with fellow actress Janella Salvador.
According to the actress, she and her fans have a lot of things to look forward to in 2024. Among the projects that is generating the most buzz online is a film with Janella, whom she now considers to be one of her good friends in the showbiz industry.
The said project, which is set to be titled “How to be a Good Wife” as officially announced by The IdeaFirstCompany last November, will be directed by Jun Robles Lana.
In a report on PUSH, the Kapamilya actress said that she’s super excited about it. She also said that the story has a lot of twists. According to her, the said project is her and Janella’s first movie together.
Describing the said project as “parang rollercoaster yung story”, the actress said that it’s an interesting project because a film with a “dark comedy” genre is new to her and Janella. She added that the title of the film itself is “medyo tricky” and many were asking about the story behind the title.
“I don’t want to share some stories about that muna. It’s very confidential for now. But marami talagang makakaabang dun,” she said. “It’s a dark comedy and first time namin gagawin ni Janella yun together and it’s our first movie together.”
The actress went on to address those who are speculating how genuine her friendship with Janella is even when the cameras are not rolling, saying that their friendship is “sobrang natural, yung hindi showbiz”.
According to her, their friendship started because of “Darna” but they didn’t expect that the two of them would be really close to each other. She added that they’re very blessed to have an unexpected friendship.
