Jane de Leon: “I’m dating someone. Non-showbiz”
JANE DE LEON – The actress recently revealed that she’s dating a non-showbiz guy.
She revealed this when she talked to members of the entertainment press during the press conference of “Shake Rattle & Roll Extreme”. At that time, she opened up about the non-showbiz guy that she’s currently dating.
According to her, he was her friend before they became a thing. She also revealed that their age gap is “mga 5-7 years”, adding that the age gap of her and her exes before are also on the same range as well.
Jane went on to reveal that choosing someone who is older than her is what her mother’s advice to her. She explained that girls mature earlier than boys and dating someone younger than her could be a headache.
“‘Yun ‘yung advice sakin ni mama, mas matanda. Ang mga babae kasi unang nagmamatured kesa sa mga lalaki,” Jane said. “Ayoko ng sakit sa ulo. Ayoko ng mga party party. Gusto ko ‘yung may matutunan ako, especially ano ako ngayon sa family ko, may mga responsibilities ako na ginagawa, so ‘yung gusto ko naman ‘yung susuportahan ako.”
It can be recalled that the actress opened up in an interview with Dr. Vicki Belo last March about the celebrity guys she had dated. At that time, she gave clues about the celebrity guys she had relationships with and she also highlighted that they were all older than her.
Jane was first discovered by a talent scout from GMA Network during one of her modeling stints. She rose to fame when she landed the titular role in Kapamilya series “Darna”.
The actress is set to star in the upcoming horror film “Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme”, which will hit cinemas on November 29, 2023. She is also gearing up for a new film with actress Janella Salvador titled “How To Be A Good Wife”.
Meanwhile, Jane turned a year older on November 22 but she marked her birthday with a flower-inspired photoshoot on November 23.
