MARJORIE BARRETTO – The former partner of Kier Legaspi and Dennis Padilla is allegedly brainwashing their children.
In the latest episode of Showbiz Updates, Ogie Diaz and his co-hosts Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh discussed the current situation between Marjorie’s children with Kier and Dennis.
“Di kaya na-brain wash na sila ng nanay nila kasi ganoon ang trato nila sa kanilang ama, tingin n’yo?” Dyosa asked. “Ako, feeling ko lang, hindi ko alam, e. Kasi, una hindi naman tayo si Marjorie Barretto. Hindi natin alam talaga ang kuwento ng mga anak o ‘yung encounters nila…between them at sa kanilang ama,” Ogie replied.
Because of their current situation, it seems that Kier and Dennis can relate to each other when it comes to pursuing their children with Marjorie. To recall, Dennis was ignored by his children a couple of times, especially on important occasions such as Christmas and New Year.
At one point, Dennis and his son Leon Barretto had a heated argument after the actor expressed that he felt hurt when he was ignored by his children on Father’s Day. Dennis eventually apologized and said that he just missed his kids.
Meanwhile, Marjorie Barretto is a former actress and politician. She served as the city councilor of the second district of Caloocan from 2007 to 2013 under the Liberal Party. Marjorie comes from a prominent showbiz family, with sisters Claudine and Gretchen Barretto, as well as her daughter Julia, who are also acclaimed actresses. She has five children, including one with Kier Legaspi, three with ex-husband Dennis Padilla, and one with former Caloocan Mayor Recom Echiverri.
Marjorie Barretto’s notable filmography includes roles in films such as “Don’t Give Up on Us,” “Takot Ka Ba sa Dilim?,” “Indecent Professor,” and “Megamol.” She has also appeared in television shows like “My Fair Lady,” “Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal,” “Gandang Gabi, Vice!,” and the series “Spirits” and “Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin.”
