Ina Feleo Shares How Her Mother Acted During Her Meet-cute With Her Italian Husband

Ina Feleo: “I don’t know if it’s love at first sight. But it’s really like attraction”

INA FELEO – The actress recently shared how her mother, veteran actress and director Laurice Guillen, acted during her meet-cute with her Italian husband, Giacomo “James” Gervasutti.

The actress, who previously starred in “Hearts on Ice” alongside Ashley Ortega and Xian Lim, is set to star in the upcoming GMA series “Love. Die. Repeat.” where she will be playing the role of best friend of Jennylyn Mercado in the series.

A “meet-cute”, according to Collins English Dictionary, refers to a scene in which “two people come to meet in unusual circumstances or through an odd quirk of fate”.

Ina appeared on Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she shared how her mother acted when they encountered her husband and his dog at a park in Venice, Italy.

In an interview, the actress said that she and her mother were just eating a sandwich and feeding the pigeons when a dog came in front of her. According to her, her mother noticed the owner of the dog instead of focusing her attention on the dog.

Ina also said that she lifted her eyes and she found James handsome.

May nakita akong dog sa harapan ko. Sabi ko kay mommy, mom tignan mo ang cute ng aso. ‘Yung mommy ko naman, [sabi] tignan mo ‘yung may hawak sa aso,” she shared. “I don’t know if it’s love at first sight. But it’s really like attraction.

According to her, her mother then told her that the man is going to approach her for sure.

When the man made it to Ina, he told her: “Do you know that it’s illegal to feed the pigeons in Venice?” She also said that she instantly felt embarrassed but then he told her: “Besides they will fly above you and s— on your beautiful hair and I would hate to see that.

That conversation led to the exchanging of email addresses between the two of them and they even started to write letters to each other.

It was in 2020 when Ina Feleo and Giacomo Gervasutti got married at the Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo. It was last December when they celebrated their third wedding anniversary.
