Herlene Budol Says Conversations with Rob Gomez Had Inside Jokes
HERLENE BUDOL – The beauty queen-actress explained the context behind her private conversations with Magandang Dilag co-star Rob Gomez.
On Friday, December 22, 2023, she went to the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter) to address her private convos with Gomez. According to her, her work has been affected due to the criticisms that she has been receiving.
Herlene revealed that she couldn’t take being bashed because she’s not that kind of woman. “Yung tahimik lang ako at kaliwa’t kanan babad ako sa taping. Yung d ako maka focus sa trabaho dahil sa issue ng mag jowa na may anak,” she said.
“Tapos malalaman ko nakaladkad na lang pangalan ko at binabash ako na wala naman akong ginagawa. Opo, Squammy man ako sa paningin nyo. indi ako hayok sa laman. Produkto ako ng broken family. Pinalaki ako ng lolo at lola ko ng maayos,” she added.
She also explained the context behind the word “kain,” which she mentioned a few times in her private conversations with Rob. “Yung batuhan ng mga script para pang kabisado sa mga linyahan ay nahaluan ng mga joke at one liner tulad ng salitang ‘kain’ ganyan na agad ang tingin nyo sa akin. Sunakay lang ako sa mga joke dahil Komedyante ako kht alam ko finiflirt ako,” she said.
Herlene then disclosed that she has received a lot of indecent proposals since she joined national pageants. However, she chose to ignore them. Meanwhile, the Kapuso star is mulling to file charges against the person who uploaded her private convos with Rob, such as the Data Privacy Act, defamation, and cyber libel.
Aside from Herlene Budol, two women were implicated in the issue of Rob Gomez such as Bianca Manalo, the longtime girlfriend of Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, and former Star Magic artist Pearl Gonzales.
