Gretchen Fullido: “The news about their breakup is one of the most difficult & emotional news items that I had to read live in the newscast”
GRETCHEN FULLIDO – The ABS-CBN News reporter admitted that the news about the breakup of actress Kathryn Bernardo and actor Daniel Padilla was one of the toughest reports she had to deliver on national television.
She said this when she posted a series of photos on her social media account and took a trip down memory lane as she shared the many interviews she did with KathNiel throughout the years.
It can be recalled that Kathryn and Daniel announced their breakup through their social media posts last November 30, after 11 years of being together.
Gretchen went on to share that it was tough reporting about KathNiel’s breakup, admitting that it’s one of the “most difficult & emotional news items” she had to deliver on national television in her 13 years anchoring for Star Patrol on “TV Patrol”.
“I have to admit, in my 13 years anchoring for Star Patrol on TV Patrol, the news about their break up is one of the most difficult & emotional news items that I had to read live in the newscast,” she said in her post. “Not to mention that it was 7 pages long.”
The ABS-CBN News reporter also said that she’s praying for healing and growth for Kathryn, Daniel, and KathNiel fans.
Meanwhile, actress Gillian Vicencio broke her silence as she responds to the rumors saying that she’s being linked to actor Daniel Padilla.
In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Friday, the actress told the public not to drag her into the separation of Daniel and Kathryn. She also urged the public to respect the former couple as well.
