GERALD ANDERSON and BARBIE IMPERIAL – The photos of the two Kapamilya stars, taken at a Star Magic event in Dubai, have elicited mixed reactions from netizens.
Gerald Anderson is a Filipino-American actor renowned as the “Action-Drama Prince” of the Philippine industry. He has earned recognition as a leading man, celebrated for his roles in popular TV series like “Sana Maulit Muli,” “My Girl,” “Tayong Dalawa,” “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo,” “Budoy,” “Dyesebel,” “Nathaniel,” and the Cannes Film Festival entry “On the Job.”

On the other hand, Barbie Imperial is an actress, model, and dancer who gained attention in 2015 by participating in Pinoy Big Brother: 737, earning the moniker “The Doll along the Riles of Albay” due to her doll-like features. After her PBB stint, she made guest appearances in Maalaala Mo Kaya, portraying roles such as Hannah, Glaiza, and even herself in her personal story. Her career ascended in February 2018 when she played an antagonist role in Wansapanataym: “Gelli in a Bottle,” portraying the main villain, Rachel San Pedro. However, her breakthrough came in 2018 with her leading role as Michelle Verano in “Araw Gabi” alongside JM de Guzman.
The two are currently making rounds online due to their photos together taken at the Shukran Festival 2023 in Dubai.
