Barbie Forteza on her new house
BARBIE FORTEZA – The actress recently gave an update about her new house and also shared how she will spend holidays this year.
According to the actress, her new house is done and she’s “currently furnishing it” by buying a sofa and other furniture needed for her house. She added that she’s trying her best to get it done before Christmas.
Barbie said this when she was interviewed by reporters at the recent premiere night of the fantasy drama film “Firefly”, one of the official film entries for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The actress was invited to the premiere by director Zig Dulay at that time.
She also told reporters that seeing her new house in person couldn’t be more fulfilling. According to her, it started out as an empty lot and she used to just imagine the new house from looking at the plans and drawings.
“And now, I can see it standing … I can’t wait to bring my whole family there,” the actress said. “Wala na akong pambili ng Christmas gifts—that’s it. New Year’s Day gift, Valentine’s gift—all in one!”
According to her, one of her main requirements is a big bedroom “because I love sleeping!” But when she was asked if she actually has time to sleep with her busy schedule, she said that she’ll make time once she’s on her new house.
The actress also shared that she wants her family to be comfortable in her new house. While her new house still needs some finishing touches, she shared that her Christmas tree is ready and it’s her first time to buy one.
She also hopes to continue landing quality acting projects.
Meanwhile, Barbie is set to star in the upcoming movie “That Kind of Love” and also set to star in the upcoming Kapuso historical drama series “Pulang Araw”. According to a report on Inquirer, there are rumors that the actress could get paired with actor Joshua Garcia for a potential movie collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA 7.
