RICCI RIVERO – An agency is allegedly interested in getting Andrea Brillantes’ ex-boyfriend to become the brand ambassador or endorser of a detergent product.
“Ang kuwento ngayon ay… naku ewan ko kung totoo o hindi ito ah… mayroon daw isang ahensya na interesado para kuning endorser o brand ambassador ng isang detergent product [si Ricci Rivero],” Fermin shared on “Cristy Ferminute.”
Her co-host Rommel Chika said: “Ang ganda niyan kapag nagkatuluyan ‘yan. Biruin mo ‘yung negative turn to positive, hindi ba”. Fermin replied: “Tama ka diyan. ‘Yung mga blessing in disguise na tinatawag.”
It can be recalled that Ricci was dubbed by bashers as the “laundry man,” and often teased in the comment sections to do the laundry whenever there was time. This started because of the viral laundry statement of his ex, Andrea.
In an interview with Vice Ganda, Andrea shared some tips on how to move on from an ex. She said, just think of things that would turn you off about the ex, like not doing the laundry for a year.
“Minsan kung hirap kang mag-move on, kailangan mo talagang isipin ang mga bagay na, ‘Talaga ba? Iiyakan ko ba ‘yung lalaking hindi nagpapa-laundry nang isang taon?’ Ganoon,” Andrea said. Although Andrea did not mention the name of her ex who hasn’t done the laundry, netizens believe it is Ricci, her recent ex-boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Ricci Paolo Uy Rivero is a professional basketball player currently playing with the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He began his collegiate basketball career with the De La Salle Green Archers. In 2018, he departed from the team to focus on Gilas Pilipinas and later joined the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons.
Apart from his sports career, Rivero has delved into acting, appearing in various films and television shows. His personal life has been under public scrutiny, with confirmed relationships, notably with actress Andrea Brillantes and more recently with beauty queen and politician Leren Bautista.
