OGIE DIAZ FAKENEWS PEDDLER is currently trending on X, previously known as Twitter

OGIE DIAZ – The talent manager and showbiz columnist has faced allegations of being a fake news peddler.

In the online Showbiz Update, Ogie disclosed that a source informed him about Daniel Padilla and Andrea Brillantes seeing each other. However, he expressed skepticism, considering the actor’s conservative reputation.

While Daniel and Andrea are yet to clarify the issue, Ogie Diaz faces accusations of spreading false information. The talent manager and showbiz columnist trend on X, formerly known as Twitter, with over 12k posts under the hashtag “OGIE DIAZ FAKENEWS PEDDLER.”

Ogie Diaz, born Roger Diaz Pandaan, is a comedian, actor, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He’s famously known as “Pekto,” his character in the former TV show Palibhasa Lalake.

His career took off in 1987 when he began as an assistant to Cristy Fermin at Mariposa Publications. In an interview, Fermin revealed that Diaz financially struggled, often borrowing money for travel expenses to reach Fermin’s office at GMA Network.

By the early ’90s, Diaz succeeded as a writer, becoming the main income source for his family. Later on, Diaz ventured into talent management and acting at ABS-CBN. Some notable talents he managed include actress Liza Soberano and previously comedian Vice Ganda.
