Michelle Dee’s younger half-brother Abraham Lawyer is getting popular online
ABRAHAM LAWYER – The younger half-brother of Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee is making waves online with his viral TikTok video.
In the video, Lawyer, accompanied by his mother, the 1979 Miss International Melanie Marquez, interacts with fans and distributes banners outside the venue of the 2023 Miss Universe in El Salvador. The family wholeheartedly supported Michelle as she represented the Philippines in the competition.
Online users couldn’t help but admire Lawyer’s supportive nature and good looks, attributing them to the appealing genes running in the family. Some even noted his resemblance to Hollywood actor Theo James. TikTok users playfully commented that Marquez might say, “Sampung milyon layuan mo anak ko,” expressing their humor about Lawyer’s striking appearance.
The TikTok video has amassed 1.5 million views, nearly 160K likes, and 1K comments. Known by the nickname Abe, Lawyer is Marquez’s son from her estranged American husband and ranch owner, Adam Lawyer. Apart from his online presence, Abe has ventured into modeling and runway gigs, featured in a 2020 ad for the fashion brand Bench, and pursued a career as a professional tennis player, competing in tournaments locally and internationally.
Meanwhile, Michelle Dee, the Philippine representative in the pageant, is not only known for her beauty but also for her advocacy for autism awareness and mental health education. Her two brothers, Adam and Mazen, both fall on the autism spectrum. In her “Her Story” video on March 10, Dee emphasized the importance of autism awareness, drawing from her personal experience with her brothers.
