Leni Robredo: “Excited to be Ninang to these two”
LENI ROBREDO – The former Vice President has expressed her excitement as she will stand as a “ninang” at the wedding of Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda.
She posted a photo on Instagram Stories where she can be seen sitting in between Robi and Maiqui. In the caption, she said that she’s excited to be the godmother of the couple at the upcoming wedding.
“Excited to be Ninang to these two – @iamrobidomingo and @maiquip_,” she said in the caption of her post.
Robi’s fiancée Maiqui Pineda then shared Robredo’s post on her Instagram Stories and said that she and her fiancé are honored to call her “Ninang”. She went on to express her gratitude to the former Vice President for teaching them how to not get stressed.
Kapamilya host Robi Domingo also posted a series of photos on his social media account and even confirmed that the former Vice President is one of their godmothers in their upcoming wedding.
“Confirmed! Hi Ninang Leni!” Robi said in the caption of his post.
It can be recalled that Robi said in an interview with PUSH during the launch of Dimples Romana’s new skin care line Dreamcakes last October that Maiqui’s continued recovery and progress inspires him to work even harder every day.
At that time, he said that his fiancée gets strength from him and he gets strength from her, adding that it’s a two-way thing and “it’s going to be good” from the looks of it.
Last August, Robi said in an interview with members of the entertainment media at the sidelines of PIE Channel’s media and trade Conference in Quezon City that their wedding will push through as scheduled.
