ROBI DOMINGO AND MAIQUI PINEDA – The couple recently shared that they have attended a Pre-CANA seminar ahead of their wedding day.
Maiqui Pineda posted a photo on her Instagram Stories where she and her fiancé can be seen attending a Pre-CANA seminar. The Kapamilya host then shared his fiancée’s post on his Instagram Stories.
In the caption of the photo posted on Instagram Stories, the couple thanked RMT-CEFAM and Ms. Lory for reminding them how marriage should be.
A Pre-CANA is a marriage preparation course for couples who are set to tie the knot in a Catholic Church.
The CANA program, according to Ruben M. Tanseco, S.J. Center for Family Ministries, focuses on the growth of the couple and the individual “to form a family that embodies the fundamental values of love, justice, and peace”.
“This shapes Filipino families for others, serving their community and the world,” Tanseco said.
It can be recalled that Robi told ABS-CBN News and other members of entertainment media last month that their wedding will push through as scheduled after Maiqui revealed that she’s battling a rare autoimmune disease.
At that time, the Kapamilya host said that he’s the one who told his fiancée that they should delay the wedding “nang konti” because of her condition but he cried when she told him, “Don’t. Give me something to hope for”.
Robi also shared that he became a “groomzilla” because he’s doing the work for their upcoming wedding, while his fiancée is focusing on her health.
Meanwhile, it was last September 1 when the Kapamilya host shared that his fiancée had her eye check-up because the medicines she took can affect her vision, “but great to know that everything is okay”.
