KATRINA HALILI – The “Black Rider” star and celebrity mom shared who inspires her to work harder as an actress.
She currently stars in the Kapuso primetime drama series “Black Rider” where she plays the role of “Romana” in the series. Other cast members include Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman, Zoren Legaspi, Gladys Reyes, Matteo Guidicelli, Kylie Padilla, Empoy, and many more.
On Thursday, the celebrity mom said in a media interview with her fellow “Black Rider” stars that she has become more inspired to work because of her daughter Katie.
According to her, she’s more dedicated to her work and also more inspired to work because of her daughter.
The actress also shared that she used to take work for granted and she was always looking at her “Plan B”, which was to go home to Palawan, but she became more inspired when she became a mother.
“Dati kasi parang, ‘Ah. uuwi na lang ako ng Palawan,’ puro ganun na lang po ‘yung sinasabi ko, ‘Ayoko, tinatamad na ako, gusto ko nang umuwi’,” she said. “Pero nung nagkaroon po ako ng anak, mas na-inspire ako, and thankful po ako na palagi pong nagtitiwala sa’kin ang GMA, 20 years na po.”
Aside from this, Katrina also expressed her gratitude to GMA Network and said that she’s very happy with the network.
To recall, she said at the grand press conference for the series that she has no idea about her role in the series and she didn’t expect that her role is a “skilled assassin” since she had been cast as a mother in many afternoon dramas.
The actress also said that she had to adjust to doing more trainings and stunts for her role.
