Katrina Halili: “Ako po pala gagawa ng action. Akala ko taga-utos lang.”
KATRINA HALILI – The actress recently spoke about her role in the upcoming Kapuso primetime drama series titled “Black Rider”.
The actress plays the role of “Romana” in the series and she described her character as a “skilled assassin”. Other cast members include Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman, Matteo Guidicelli, Kylie Padilla, Zoren Legaspi, Gladys Reyes, Empoy, and many more.
At the grand press conference for the upcoming Kapuso television series, Katrina said that she had to adjust to doing more trainings and stunts for her role.
The actress also said that she has no idea about her role in the series, adding that she didn’t expect it since she had been cast as a mother in many afternoon dramas.
“Na-shock po ako kasi natanggap ko na po siya. Super shocked po ako na ang daming trainings po. Ako po pala gagawa ng action. Akala ko taga-utos lang,” Katrina Halili said.
Katrina also said that she’s skeptical of herself at first because she was used to being cast in mother roles for afternoon soap operas. She added that she had a lot of training, but she was already enjoying it when she’s doing it.
It can be recalled that Katrina played the role of Jillian Ward’s mother in the 2019 soap “Prima Donnas”. The last remarkable action role Katrina did was the role of “Valentina” and “Black Darna” opposite Marian Rivera’s version of “Darna” in 2009.
GMA Network’s upcoming TV series “Black Rider” premieres on November 6, 2023 right after “24 Oras”, with a delayed telecast at 9:40 pm on GTV.
