Here’s what you can do in case you can’t login or open your GCash app
GCASH APP – This article will teach you about the things you need to do in case you can’t login or open your app.
You can download the app on Google Play Store (if you’re using an Android device) or on Apple App Store (if you’re using an iOS device such as iPhone).
But in case you can’t login or open the app, you can try some of the things you can do in reopening the app.
Here are some of the things you can do in case you can’t login or open your app:
Update your GCash app to the latest version
You need to open the Google Play Store (for Android devices) or Apple App Store (for iOS devices) if an app update is available. You can view the app version when you open the app login and check the app version at the bottom of the screen.
Aside from this, you can also enable auto-update on Google Play Store or on Apple App Store. The tutorial about enabling auto-update, however, may vary depending on the mobile device you’re using.
- If you’re using an Android device, you need to open Google Play Store, tap “Settings”, and choose “Auto-update apps”. Tap “Done” after choosing your preferred option: over WiFi only or any network.
- If you’re using an iOS device, you need to go to your device “Settings”, choose “App Store”, and toggle “App Updates” under the Automatic Downloads.
Force close the app
You can force close the app in case you noticed that the app is not responding on your device. After force closing it, you need to try to open the app and check if you’re able to login to the app.
Change your network connection
In case you can’t open the app because of the internet connection, you need to force close the app first, switch on the “Airplane Mode” for 30 seconds, and then turned the “Airplane Mode” off.
After that, you need to try to switch the source of internet connection – from WiFi to mobile data and vice versa – and try to open and login to the app.
You can submit a ticket and select which login error you’re experiencing in case you have tried all the steps above and still have an unresponsive app.
