Here’s the reaction of Cristy Fermin to Vice Ganda’s sarcastic remark
CRISTY FERMIN – The showbiz columnist reacted to the sarcastic remark made by Vice Ganda toward her on the November 23 episode of “It’s Showtime.”
During the November 23 episode of “It’s Showtime,” Vice Ganda engaged in what seemed like a meaningful banter. In a segment called “MeCHOOSE-MeCHOOSE,” there was a contestant named “Cristy.” MeCHOOSE-MeCHOOSE is a game introduced on November 18, 2023, where participants have the chance to win up to ₱100,000.
“Kumusta ka, Cristy? Anong pinagkakaabalahan mo, Cristy, bukod sa paggawa ng mga kasinungalingan?” Vice asked. The contestant replied, “Raket, raket lang po.” Vice’s remark sparked mixed reactions from netizens, with some speculating that he was throwing shade at showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin.
In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” the showbiz columnist revealed that Vice Ganda’s remark reached her, prompting her to react. “Hindi naman kami ipinanganak kahapon para hindi namin maturol na ako talaga ang pinatatamaan ni Vice Ganda. Ang hindi lang maganda puro patagilid ang kaniyang bira,” said the showbiz columnist.
“Eh bakit hindi mo sabihin na, ‘Oy, Cristy Fermin, bukod sa pinagkakaabalahan mo, bukod sa pagsisinungaling ano pa pinagkakaabalahan mo?’ Eh ako diretso ko nasasabi sa kaniya na mayabang siya, ‘di ba? Na wala ka manlang makitang pagpapakumbaba sa kaniya. Diretso kong nasasabi yon, bakit hindi niya rin ako diretsuhin? Eh pu-pwede naman” she added.
Previously, Cristy Fermin mentioned that they have ignored several instances of Vice Ganda allegedly making jabs at them. “Hindi ‘yung magtatago pa siya sa saya ng ibang tao, gagamit pa siya ng ibang tao para makaganti. Benggador eh, benggador. Bakit hindi mo direstuhin? ‘Yun lang naman ang hindi maganda doon.”
As of press time, Vice Ganda has yet to react to Cristy Fermin’s response.
