Cassy Legaspi: “We’re very genuine with each other. If we look like we’re close, totoo namang close talaga kami”
CASSY LEGASPI – The actress opened up about the real score between her and singer-actor Darren Espanto.
Darren Espanto and Cassy Legaspi are among the stars in the upcoming movie titled “When I Met You In Tokyo” – one of the movie entries for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
At the sidelines of the press conference for the upcoming movie, the actress said that their fans get what they see.
Cassy also said that she and Darren are very genuine with each other and they’re also close with each other as well.
“Paano ba i-eexplain ‘yun? Siguro What you see is what you get,” Cassy said in an interview with the entertainment media. “We’re very genuine with each other. If we look like we’re close, totoo namang close talaga kami.”
The actress went on to share that her celebrity parents Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villarroel asked about her relationship status with Darren only once. She then admitted that he left a good impression on her parents.
Darren, for his part, said that he and Cassy are “not just friends” and it’s something that is “in between”. But when they were asked what they tell their parents if asked what the real score between them is, Darren said, “Hindi po namin sinasagot.”
In a report on PUSH last March, actress Carmina Villarroel said interview with entertainment news reporter MJ Felipe that she’s “very happy” and comfortable with whatever Cassy and Darren have. She also said that she feels happy that Cassy and Darren are comfortable with one another whenever they have the chance to meet up.
Cassy and Darren’s on-screen team-up is part of the upcoming movie starring Christopher de Leon and Vilma Santos. “When I Met You In Tokyo” will open in cinemas nationwide on December 25, 2023.
