In one scene of “Magandang Dilag,” Bianca Manalo couldn’t help but walk out
BIANCA MANALO – The beauty queen-turned-actress walked out while filming a scene for the television series “Magandang Dilag.”
Bianca Manalo, whose real name is Pamela Bianca Ramos Manalo, is an actress and beauty pageant titleholder. She is the sister of Miss World 2002 – Top 10 Finalist Katherine Anne Manalo and Miss Globe 2016 – 3rd Runner-Up Nichole Marie Manalo, and she is the niece of Miss International 1968 – Top 15 Semi-Finalist Nini Ramos.
She rose to fame when she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2009. Then, she represented the Philippines at Miss Universe 2009. However, she failed to secure a placement. After her pageant stint, she ventured into acting with her title role in the now-defunct ABS-CBN television series “Juanita Banana,” which aired from October 2010 until February 2011.
Prior to joining the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, Manalo worked as a flight attendant for the domestic operations of Philippine Airlines. She graduated from Assumption College San Lorenzo with a degree in Advertising.
Presently, she stars in the drama series “Magandang Dilag,” alongside Herlene Budol. Recently, she took to Instagram where she revealed that she walked out while filming a scene for the TV series. According to her, she indeed walked out because she was not informed that there were real worms in a particular scene.
“Takot ako talaga sa kahit anong creepy crawlies (emoji). Hindi sinabi ng production na totoong worms yung mabubuksan namin ng Elite Squad,” she said. “So totoo yung sigaw ko and napa walk out talaga ako ng scene kahit hindi pa cut sa takot. (emojis),” she added.
Her post earned multiple likes and mixed reactions from the netizens. One social media user commented: “Sinadya siguro nila pra real scream tlga hehe.”
Meanwhile, Bianca portrays the character of Riley Tevez-Illusorio, one of the antagonists in “Magandang Dilag.”
