Yexel Sebastian reacts to the post that he and Mikee Agustin are “wanted” in the Philippines

YEXEL SEBASTIAN – The toy collector and former member of the Streetboys expressed his dismay over the spreading “fake news” claiming that he and his partner are wanted in the Philippines.

On Thursday evening, October 12, he shared a screenshot of a netizen’s Facebook post saying there was a reward for information about their whereabouts. Ang pangalan po nila na tunay [ay] Yexel Sebastian and Mikee Agustin,” according to the netizen’s post.

The post also claimed that Yexel and Mikee had scammed P300 million, contrary to the earlier reported P200 million investment. The netizen encouraged others to share the post to make Filipinos in Japan aware that the two are wanted and should be reported to authorities.

He added: “Meron pong due process ang lahat. Salamat.”

Meanwhile, Yexel’s post received various comments from the public. It is worth noting that on Monday, October 9, the controversial toy collector and his family left for Japan, as confirmed by the Bureau of Immigration. According to the agency, there is no departure order or derogatory record for the two, so they were able to leave the country.
