Britney Spears on GGV? Vice Ganda hopes so
VICE GANDA – The Unkabogable comedian expressed the desire to have Britney Spears as a guest on “Gandang Gabi Vice” if the show returns.
Britney Spears is an American singer often referred to as the “Princess of Pop.” She played a significant role in the revival of teen pop in the late 1990s and early 2000s. With approximately 150 million records sold worldwide, including over 70 million in the United States, she is one of the best-selling music artists globally. Spears has earned numerous awards and accolades, including a Grammy Award, Guinness World Records, MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She signed with Jive Records at the age of fifteen in 1997 and released her first two studio albums, “…Baby One More Time” (1999) and “Oops!… I Did It Again” (2000), both of which became some of the best-selling albums of all time. Her record “Oops!… I Did It Again” held the record for the fastest-selling album by a female artist in the United States for fifteen years. As her career progressed, she adopted a more mature and provocative style for albums like “Britney” (2001) and “In the Zone” (2003). She also ventured into acting, starring in the 2002 film “Crossroads.”
Recently, a netizen asked Vice Ganda who he would like to have as the first guest on “Gandang Gabi Vice” if the show returns. The netizen asked, “Meme if ever makabalik ang GGV sino gusto mong unang maiguest? #ViceGanda.” Vice Ganda responded with: “Britney Spears!”
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda is delighted that many people still remember his talk show. He expressed his happiness by saying, “Super nakakahappy na kahit ilang years ng di umeere ang GGV bukambibig pa din ito ng madami. Im so blessed to have 3 programs na kinakapitan talaga ng mga tao.
