Playful banter between Sandara Park and Bayani Agbayani
SANDARA PARK – The Korean superstar had a witty remark about the comedian Bayani Agbayani when asked if he could become a KPop star.
On Saturday, October 7, a member of the Korean girl group 2NE1 appeared as a guest on “I Can See Your Voice,” hosted by Luis Manzano. Sandara Park joyfully joined and tried to guess who the real SEE-nger was.
From the moment Sandara entered, she was welcomed with excitement by the SING-vestigators, including Lassy, MC, Angeline Quinto, Bayani Agbayani, and Donita Nose. The episode was truly enjoyable, with spirited exchanges between Sandara, known as the “Pambansang Krung Krung ng Pilipinas,” and Luis.
While investigating the two SEEcret songers, Sandara mentioned that she felt like she was on ASAP (a Philippine variety show) due to the chemistry between the two. She was charmed by their beautiful voices and playfully wondered if those were their real voices.
The SING-vestigators shared their opinions, and Luis asked her if Bayani could become a KPop star in Korea. Sandara humorously responded that Bayani could star in movies because, in K-Dramas, they prefer handsome actors. However, for movies, charm matters more than looks.
“Ito Sandy, tanong ko sa ‘yo. Kung saka-sakali ba, si Kuya Bayani pwedeng maging KPop star sa Korea?” Luis asked. “Puwede siya sa mga movies kasi sa mga K-Drama gusto nila ‘yung mga gwapo. Sa movie, pwede kahit hindi gwapo,” Sandara Park replied.
Bayani playfully acted out the singkit-singkitan (making his eyes appear narrower, as commonly seen in K-Dramas) but stopped when he heard Sandara’s comment about starring in movies even if not conventionally handsome. The SING-vestigators agreed with Sandara’s comments, praising Bayani’s unique charm and humor.
