Elsa Droga saddened by suspension of It’s Showtime
ELSA DROGA – A grand finalist in the “Miss Q and A” segment of It’s Showtime in 2018, has shared his thoughts on the show’s suspension.
He expressed his sadness over the suspension, as It’s Showtime felt like a second family to him and was instrumental in his gaining recognition. Elsa believes that the show served as a platform for diverse individuals to showcase their potential to a global audience.
He hopes that It’s Showtime will be granted the opportunity to return to television because of its consistent ability to bring joy to those who may be feeling low or depressed. He stressed that it is an exceptional program and should be given another chance by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
The suspension of It’s Showtime commenced on Saturday, October 14, 2023, as a result of the MTRCB’s decision. The suspension was initiated due to an incident involving Vice Ganda and Ion Perez, who were observed eating icing from a cake with their fingers during the “Isip Bata” segment on July 25, 2023.
When asked when viewers might see Elsa on television again, he humorously remarked that it might occur when he is featured on TV Patrol. His initial foray into acting took place when Vice Ganda extended an invitation to him to participate in the movie “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” during the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in 2017. Since then, he has been involved in various television series and films.
Elsa underscored his willingness to return to It’s Showtime should the opportunity arise since the show served as his entry point into the entertainment industry. he clarified that his involvement in the program is on an on-call basis, and he is called upon for specific events as required. Elsa also shared his current priorities, including performances at town fiestas and other engagements.

Although Elsa did not secure the grand title in the Miss Q and A 2018 competition, he received a special award for “Beks In Costume.” Juliana Parizcova Segovia, on the other hand, was crowned the grand winner of Miss Q and A 2018.
