Concert King Martin Nievera absent on son’s birthday
MARTIN NIEVERA – The Concert King shared his deep disappointment and sadness over not being able to embrace his son Santino on his 17th birthday, on October 23, 2023. Santino is Martin’s child from his previous partner Katrina Ojeda. Santino has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
In his Instagram post, Martin Nievera expressed the sorrow he felt because he couldn’t be with his youngest son on his actual birthday. However, he didn’t reveal the specific personal reasons that kept him apart from Santino on that day.
Martin expressed that he had organized his schedule meticulously to fly to the US, where Santino resides with his mother, ensuring that he could be with his son on his birthday. However, he alluded to “forces even stronger than God” that prevented this reunion.
Martin acknowledged that it was a challenging decision but opted for the high road, prioritizing peace over confrontation. He shared his sense of guilt for missing the hug with Santino and used this post as a means of venting and expressing his feelings.
Pops Fernandez, Martin’s former wife, demonstrated her supportive and loving relationship with Santino through Instagram stories, wishing him a happy birthday. Pops has always been supportive and accepting of Santino and values the strong connection between her children, Robin and Ram, and their half-sibling Santino. She had previously stated that Santino was not connected to the issues in her past relationship with Martin and aimed for her children to have a positive relationship with their half-sibling.
