Open Letter of Francis M’s Fan to Abegail Rait Goes Viral
OPEN LETTER – A fan of Francis Magalona took to social media to express her disappointment with Abegail Rait, the woman claiming to be a former lover of the late Master Rapper.
Sheryl Frank took to Facebook to voice her thoughts, asserting that even if Abegail had remained silent for 15 years, it would not alter the reality that she was involved with Francis as the “other woman.” Sheryl emphasized that the fact Francis had never made their relationship public implied that Abegail was still considered an extramarital partner, despite her claims.
She criticized Abegail for finally coming forward 15 years after Francis’s passing, asserting that it took a lot of nerve for her to claim that her relationship with the rapper was real and that he loved them equally. Sheryl expressed her dismay, stating that while other people may judge her, 15 years should have been enough time for Abegail to maintain her silence.
Sheryl went on to offer a strong piece of advice to women in similar situations. She highlighted that regardless of how much a married man may profess his love and care if he keeps his relationship hidden, the woman involved is nothing more than a mistress.
She stressed that it is never morally right to be with someone who is legally and officially married to another person. She cautioned against becoming the cause of another woman’s misery and urged women not to justify their actions just because they believe they have a valid reason, such as the child’s right to be recognized as their daughter. Sheryl firmly stated that just because Francis Magalona had passed away, it did not give anyone the right to defend or support such a relationship.
Sheryl’s plea to Abegail on Facebook was to show respect for the Magalona family and cease discussing her relationship with Francis. She reiterated her belief that being the “other woman” was unequivocally wrong, regardless of the circumstances.
