Arra San Agustin as the “Noontime Show Goddess”?
NOONTIME SHOW GODDESS – Yasser Marta’s introduction of his “Eat Bulaga” co-host Arra San Agustin has generated various reactions and comments from the public.
Many were surprised by this title, as Arra is relatively new to noontime show hosting, and the designation reportedly seemed to be quite high for her. A lot of people questioned the title, suggesting that it would be more fitting for “It’s Showtime” host Anne Curtis, who is often referred to as the “Goddess” of showbiz.
On the other hand, Arra’s fans came to her defense, suggesting that the netizens were taking the title too seriously. They emphasized that Arra’s beauty and charisma indeed make her seem goddess-like:
Arra showcased her hosting skills during the opening ceremony of Season 99 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the SM MOA Arena last week. Apparently, there has been no response or reaction from the camps of Arra or Anne regarding this matter.
Meanwhile, Arra San Agustin is a Kapuso artist whose career began when she joined the sixth season of “StarStruck” in 2015 while concurrently pursuing a degree in psychology at De La Salle University, which she successfully completed within a year.
Subsequently, she embarked on her acting career with minor roles in various television programs, including “Maynila,” “Magpakailanman,” “Karelasyon,” “Dear Uge,” and “Usapang Real Love Presents: Perfect Fit.” In 2016, she became an integral part of “Bubble Gang,” the country’s longest-running sketch comedy show.
One of her notable portrayals was as Ariana, the reincarnation of Amihan in the 2016 fantasy series “Encantadia.” Arra’s versatility extends beyond acting, as she delved into hosting. Her career reached new heights when she transitioned into lead roles, starting with her portrayal of Audrey Segundo in the drama “Madrasta” alongside Juancho Trivino in 2019. In 2022, she continued to shine by taking on the role of Bella Melendez in the adventure series “Lolong,” where she co-starred with Ruru Madrid.
