Abegail Rait, the alleged ex-lover of the late Master Rapper Francis Magalona, has been confirmed by Julius Babao to be running for barangay kagawad.
The veteran broadcaster shared with Bandera’s Reggee Bonoan that Rait is indeed running for the barangay elections.

JULIUS BABAO – The veteran broadcast journalist, has confirmed that Abegail Rait, the alleged former lover of Francis Magalona, is running in the elections.
Abegail Rait, a former flight attendant, recently garnered attention online after stating in an appearance on “Pinoy Pawnstars” with Boss Taya that she had a relationship with the late Master Rapper Francis M, resulting in the birth of their daughter, Gaile Francesca Rait.
Now 15 years old, Gaile Francesca is planning to enter the world of show business. In addition to disclosing her connection to the late rapper, Abegail also presented some memorabilia to Boss Toyo, which she sold for only P500,000.
Recently, there were rumors that Abegail Rait was running for the position of barangay kagawad in their local community. However, no official confirmation was released from her camp.
But her candidacy has been confirmed by none other than Julius Babao. During a sideline interview with Reggee Bonoan of Bandera, the veteran broadcast journalist revealed that he learned about her candidacy in the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) after his interview with the mother and daughter. He stated, “Oo nga, eh, tapos na ‘yung interview nu’ng nalaman kong kumakandidato siya.”
Moreover, it was only recently that Gaile Francesca Rait had a one-on-one interview with Julius Babao. At one point, she expressed her willingness to meet her father’s other children and hoped that they would accept her as part of the family. She emphasized that her intentions were purely positive and that she had no plans to disrupt the Magalona family. Francesca conveyed, “I want to tell them that I hope they accept me. I don’t have any bad intentions, I just…”
As of press time, the Magalona family has yet to issue an official statement regarding the claims of Abegail Rait.
