The Facebook page of Senyora isn’t available right now
SENYORA – The official Facebook page of the social media personality seems to have been deleted.
Senyora Santibañez is an exploitable image of Chantal Andere, the main antagonist in the Mexican telenovela Marimar, portraying a snobbish and stereotypically arrogant Filipino hacienda owner. Following the success of Marimar’s remake, this character became a meme and an internet celebrity in the Philippines. She frequently shares her thoughts about politics and other issues, including show business.
In 2012, Senyora was voted as the best meme. On November 11, 2012, a Facebook fan page named Senyora Santibañez was created, later becoming known as Senyora. She boasts over 6 million followers on the said platform.
However, it seems that her official Facebook page has also been deleted, similar to what happened to the page of the so-called motivational speaker Rendon Labador. Previously, the latter’s FB account, along with his Twitter, TikTok, and email accounts, were disabled due to mass reporting by netizens.
As of press time, Senyora has not issued any statement. It appears that her Instagram account is still active.
Last year, various social media posts claim that Senyora has finally revealed her face. However, it has been discovered that the photos were edited and grabbed from “The Global Iconic Aces Awards 2022” Facebook page. They were edited by a netizen, with Senyora’s name on the plaque and her image in the background, falsely claiming it was her face reveal.
The woman in the photos was actually a representative of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetics Association of the Philippines Inc. (HSCAPI), which was recognized as the Iconic Support Organization in the Field of Soap and Cosmetics Industries.
