JC de Vera: “I shy away from social media”
JC DE VERA – The “Nag-Aapoy na Damdamin” actor recently shared how he keeps his family life as private as possible.
The actor currently stars in afternoon series “Nag-Aapoy Na Damdamin” together with Jane Oineza, Tony Labrusca, and Ria Atayde.
On the sidelines of a bloggers’ conference for the ABS-CBN hit afternoon series, JC told ABS-CBN news that he posts about his family life online but not every act and every movement of his family is on social media. JC also shared that having a small circle of friends also helps in his private family life.
According to the Kapamilya actor, they don’t really show everything on social media because he fully understands that he’s the only one in showbiz and he doesn’t want his family involved in the industry he’s in.
“Gusto ko kapag natanong sila ng time na ‘yon they know how to answer privately pa rin. ‘Yung parang hindi pa rin nila ikukuwento kung ano ‘yung buhay talaga namin, kasi ano pa ang ipapakita namin, ‘di ba?” he said.
JC De Vera and his wife Rikkah Cruz have two children named Lana and Laura. The couple got married in a civil wedding ceremony in 2018 and got married in a church wedding ceremony 3 years later.
The actor also admitted in the interview that he and his wife are still open of having another child. However, he stressed that it won’t happen soon. He hopes that they can decide to have another child “within a few years”.
It can be recalled that JC announced last June 2023 that he and his wife welcomed their second child.
