It was just recently when a netizen took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she posted two photos of a beautiful woman whom she assumed as the social media personality.

The photos were taken during “The Global Iconic Aces Awards 2022”.

In the photos, the woman can be seen holding a trophy and a plaque for “Iconic Internet Persona and Social Media Age” award.

The post was accompanied by the caption: “Senyora face reveal (loudly crying face and smiling face with heart-shaped eyes emojis).

Apparently, it appears that the photos were edited.

Newspapers.ph insiders found out that the photos were grabbed from “The Global Iconic Aces Awards 2022” Facebook page.

They were edited by the netizen with the name of Senyora on the plaque as well as her image on the background, claiming it was her face reveal.

The woman in the photos is actually a representative of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetics Association of the Philippines Inc. (HSCAPI) whose association was awarded Iconic Support Organization in the Field of Soap and Cosmetics Industries.

Meanwhile, Senyora Santibañez is an exploitable image of Chantal Andere, the main antagonist in the Mexican telenovela Marimar, a snobbish and stereotypically arrogant Filipino hacienda owner.

Following the success of Marimar’s remake, the character became a meme and internet celebrity in the Philippines. She frequently shares her thoughts about politics as well as other issues such as show business.

It was in 2012 when it was voted the best meme. On November 11, 2012, a Facebook fan page called Senyora Santibañez was created, which later became Senyora.

As of today, its Facebook page has over 5.9 million followers.
