SHAINA MAGDAYAO – A man received a “kaltok” or a knock on the head during the 11th Sangkaan Festival in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur after requesting a kiss from the actress.
Shaina Magdayao is a multi-talented actress, dancer, model, product endorser, occasional singer, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. Her career began at the age of seven when she played the titular role in the popular TV series “Lyra.” She has been associated with Star Magic and ABS-CBN throughout her extensive 25-year career.
Throughout her career, she has been part of various television series, including “Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo,” “Juan dela Cruz,” and “Asintado.” She also became a regular cast member on the show “ASAP.”
It was just recently when she attended the 11th Sangkaan Festival in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur. The festival also featured Khalil Ramos, The Juans, Silent Sanctuary, Dimes & Grind, and PGO Band.
During the photo-op session where fans and celebrities mingled, Surigao del Sur Governor Alexander Pimentel was assisting fans in taking pictures with Shaina. One fan, however, seized the opportunity to ask for a kiss from the actress, and Shaina obliged.
Governor Pimentel witnessed the incident and appeared surprised, lightly tapping the man on the back of his head as he left the stage. However, from another angle captured by a netizen, it was evident that the governor’s action was not meant to be taken seriously, as he smiled afterward.
As of press time, the video has garnered thousands of views. Meanwhile, the word “kaltok” in English can be translated as “knocking” or “banging.” It refers to the act of making a sharp, percussive sound by striking an object or surface, typically with one’s hand or a solid object.
