Here’s the message of Derek Ramsay to a netizen who criticized him for saving kittens
DEREK RAMSAY – The popular celebrity turned to social media wherein he called out a netizen criticizing him for saving kittens.
Derek Arthur Ramsay Jr., a British-Filipino model, actor, and host, began his career in the early 2000s as an MTV VJ, model, and TV commercial actor. He gained recognition on GMA Network as a co-host of the “Pool Watch” segment on “Eat Bulaga!” from 2001 to 2004. He later moved to TV5 in April 2012, where he hosted “The Amazing Race Philippines” and other shows. After his contract expired in February 2015, he renewed it with TV5 in April 2015. In 2019, he returned to GMA Network to co-host “Eat Bulaga!” once again. In 2021, he took an indefinite leave from showbiz.
In addition to his entertainment career, Ramsay actively participated in various sports, including basketball, beach soccer, golf, and ultimate frisbee. In November 2021, Derek Ramsay married fellow actor Ellen Adarna, and they have been sharing unfiltered photos and videos of their life together online.
Recently, Derek Ramsay turned to his Instagram Story to call out a netizen who criticized him for saving kittens. The netizen accused the actor of cruelty for not allowing the mother cat to clean the placenta of her newborn kittens.
The netizen’s comment read, “These pitiful kittens came from Derek Ramsay’s house, right?! They never even gave the poor mama cat a chance to clean the placenta off of her newborn babies! Sooo cruel of them, whether it’s the employers or just their helpers, to have done this/ allowed this to happen. Don’t you just hate people who lack empathy & compassion?!”
In response, Derek Ramsay defended himself by explaining that he was merely trying to save the kittens, saying, “I tried to save these poor kittens and this irresponsible keyboard warrior comments this. Good job!!!”
