Carla Abellana: “Hindi naman po kailangan sa ganung paraan o ganung way na maka-move on o may papalitan or what”
CARLA ABELLANA – Here’s what the actress said when she was asked if she has a new relationship after moving on from the past.
She said during the press conference after her contract signing with All Access to Artists, Inc., last September 26, 2023 that it’s not good for her to immediately find a new relationship just to say that she has moved on from the past.
According to her, it would be fake for her to move on if there was also someone who would be a “panakip-butas”.
Carla also said that moving on comes from oneself and not from other people.
“Ang kailangan, ’yong sarili n’yo po, on your own. Like I always say, hindi po kailangan [ng bagong karelasyon]. Talagang sarili n’yo lang ang kailangan n’yo,” Carla said. “At the end of the day, sarili n’yo lang din po ang sasalo sa sarili ninyo, parang ganu’n.”
When asked if there’s anyone who is paying attention to her now that she’s single again, she said in the affirmative and “hindi po sila taga-showbiz.”
Meanwhile, the Kapuso actress clarified that her farewell to her former manager, Popoy Caritativo, went well. According to the actress, her ex-husband Tom Rodriguez under Popoy’s talent has nothing to do with it because he’s a professional person.
She also said that there’s no bad blood between them, adding that she just wants to explore and start over now that she’s in a new chapter of her life.
Aside from this, Carla chose not to give a definite answer about the possibility of being friends with her ex-husband. She said that she prefers not to set anything in stone as there are a lot of unpredictable events in life and she doesn’t want to conclude or be definite about anything.
The actress also said that she has moved on from her separation from him.
