LOW QUALITY? – A movie called “Sa Kamay Ng Diyos (Pastor Jonard N. Pamor Story)” has garnered attention on social media due to its poster featuring actors Aljur Abrenica and Elizabeth Oropesa.
The poster shows Aljur’s character looking upwards with his arms outstretched while surrounded by water with fish, set against lush green foliage and waterfalls in the background. The movie is being promoted by the SM Cinema chain.
The post about the movie received over 47,000 laughing reactions, 14,000 shares, and 5,200 comments, with many netizens making humorous remarks about the poster’s design. Some compared it to amateurish work, leading to memes and jokes about the graphic design quality. Others playfully associated it with popular franchises like “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
The film’s plot revolves around the life story of Reverend Jonard N. Pamor, portrayed by Aljur Abrenica, who was once a security guard at a place called “Jeric’s Bakery and Grocery.” In the movie, he ends up fighting off goons attempting to steal 80 million pesos they were inexplicably transporting in a black van.
“Sa Kamay Ng Diyos” also stars Ali Forbes, Meg Imperial, and William Martinez, with Zaldy Munda directing and JPM Film Production producing the film. Interestingly, Pastor Jonard himself is credited as an executive producer on the movie’s official poster.
