LOVE CONQUERS ALL – A lovely couple in Bulacan proceed with their wedding despite the raging flood waters caused by a storm.
A Facebook user named Maria Jasmin Halili has shared the video footage of a lovely couple who proceed with their wedding amidst flood. The clip spread like a wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, Paulo and Diane’s wedding proceed amid the inclement weather condition at Barasoain Church (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish) in Malolos City, Bulacan. The wedding creates a scene that some described as “Crazy Rich Asians”.
Halili said that they did not anticipate the flooding inside the church because there was no sign of it during their visit on Saturday. However, on the day of the wedding, the waters surged, and the inside of the church was submerged.
The couple remained undeterred and pushed the wedding. Luckily, the guests considered the situation and bravely stepped into the floodwaters to be a part of the ceremony. Some visitors wore boots and some opted to attend the wedding with just slippers.
Jasmin, the groom’s cousin described the wedding as a joyous and successful celebration despite the unexpected flooding. The couple shows their intimacy and strong affection for each other.
