A statement of Leren Mae Bautista denying romantic involvement with Ricci Rivero resurfaces
LEREN MAE BAUTISTA – A statement from the beauty queen-turned-politician, in which she refuted any connection to basketball player Ricci Rivero, has once again gone viral.
The former boyfriend of Andrea Brillantes and the councilor who transitioned from being a beauty queen have garnered online attention due to the circulation of a photograph featuring them browsing plushie stuffed toys at a mall store. A fan account on X (formerly Twitter) with the username @slayramonaaaa shared the image, depicting the young man wearing a cap, glasses, and a face mask while standing alongside the councilor. Numerous other individuals also shared pictures of Ricci and Leren from various angles.
This incident has ignited public interest and spurred discussions about the nature of their relationship, especially since Ricci recently went through a breakup with Andrea.
Additionally, they were spotted jogging together at the Freedom Park of the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Despite both wearing face masks, it’s apparent from a photo shared by PEP.ph that Ricci is the male figure and Leren is the female, particularly in a picture where her mask is removed.
While the two have yet to issue any statements regarding their recent photos, a resurfaced statement from Leren during the time she was linked to Ricci has gained attention on social media. In the statement, the beauty queen-turned-politician firmly denied any romantic involvement with the basketball star.
“We would like to address the disinformation that has been circulating across social media platforms regarding Councilor Leren and her alleged romantic involvement with basketball player Ricci Rivero. We want to make it clear that these claims are entirely false and have no basis in reality,” the statement emphasized.
Meanwhile, a previously conducted interview with the basketball player, in which Ricci Rivero denied having a relationship with Leren Mae Bautista, has also resurfaced. For more news and the latest updates, feel free to visit Newspapers.ph more often as well as our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
