Jeric Gonzales: “We’ve been talking about it”
JERIC GONZALES – The actor recently shared that he and beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya Mateo are already talking about marriage.
To recall, Jeric Gonzales and Rabiya Mateo met on the set of “Wish Ko Lang” back in November 2021. They confirmed their romance last March 2022 through a series of posts on their respective social media accounts.
Jeric and Rabiya’s reported breakup was merely because of misunderstanding. The two got back together again after a week.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, the actor admitted that he and his girlfriend have already been talking about marriage. The actor also said that he’s already in his 30s and so he’s looking forward to it, adding that he feels “this is the time” when a person wants to make it happen.
“Yes, Tito Boy, actually we’ve been talking about it,” he told the King of Talk. “I’m already in my 30s, so I’m looking forward (to it) because I feel this is the time when you want to make it happen. Perhaps, two years or a year from now, at siya gusto rin naman niya.”
The actor also said that he’s looking forward to fatherhood. According to the actor, he has been thinking about becoming a father at his age and so he’s looking forward to that day.
It can be recalled that Rabiya said in a previous interview with the King of Talk that she’s ready to settle down after being able to fulfill her dreams for her family. She also emphasized that they both need to be ready.
In an episode on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, Rabiya Mateo said that her boyfriend is her “pahinga” while Jeric Gonzales said “sa kanya ako napapagod”.
