Alexa Miro on Sandro Marcos: “He’s one of my closest friends”
ALEXA MIRO – The “Eat Bulaga” host recently clarified that Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos is not her suitor.
The actress made the revelation when she was interviewed by entertainment journalist Nelson Canlas in the latest episode of “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast.
She was asked in an interview about her supposed romance with the presidential son. According to her, he’s not her suitor but one of her closest friends.
Alexa shared that they trust each other with their problems and “gan’un din siya (Sandro) with his other friends na girls and boys”, adding that she’s thankful that she’s part of their circle. The TV host also said that the congressman has a lot of “female friends.”
She claimed she might have caught the attention of the public because she’s a “fresh face” in the showbiz industry.
“He calls his friends his family. Marami talaga siyang kaibigang babae, as in marami kami sa group,” she said. “But I guess because I’m the fresh face, that’s what the people latched on to. Tapos lagi kaming magkasama pero hindi natitiyempuhan ang ibang friends.”
In the same interview, Alexa also opened up about the criticisms she received after being involved with the Marcos scion, but she said Sandro “didn’t comfort” her. The actress, who admitted she “cried in the shower” at the height of their romance rumors, noted how Sandro’s apparent tough love helped her in dealing with naysayers online.
It can be recalled that a viral video taken during the inauguration of Vice President Sara Duterte last June 2022 captured Cavite Representative Lani Mercado-Revilla confirming with Sandro that his girlfriend is from Bacoor, Cavite.
Also, Alexa and Sandro were spotted together at the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore last October 2022.
