Kim Chiu: “As long as the project is good, I can work well with any artist”
KIM CHIU – The Kapamilya actress-host said that she’s open to working with any artist on GMA Network.
The actress-host is a longtime endorser and celebrity ambassador for fastfood brand Chowking. She recently introduced Chowking’s all-new Spicy Chao Fan at the #ShareYourSpice press event.
Kim Chiu has been endorsing the fastfood brand for 6 years and the restaurant is very supportive of the things that she does, especially her charity program in the provinces.
In an interview at the #ShareYourSpice press event, the actress-host feels she and her boyfriend Xian Lim can team up again on TV. She also said that she’s open to working with any artist on GMA Network as well.
“Xian and I will see each other soon,” the Kapamilya actress-host said. “I’m open to working with anyone on GMA 7, not just Xian. As long as the project is good, I can work well with any artist.”
Xian Lim is one of the stars in Kapuso series “Hearts on Ice” alongside actress Ashley Ortega. He celebrated his 34th birthday last week.
Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime” to GMA-owned GTV Channel is interesting to all its hosts, including Kim Chiu.
According to her, she’s very happy and very thankful about the transfer of “It’s Showtime” to GTV because they’ll be seen in a lot of platforms and in more free TV channels. She added that everything that they’re doing is for their audience.
Philstar reported that a number of Kapuso artists are now seen in Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime” and even in ABS-CBN’s Sunday noontime show “ASAP”.
The Kapamilya actress-host can’t be thankful enough that her “It’s Showtime” family has been very supportive through the years that she has been hosting the Kapamilya noontime show.
“They’ve seen my growth as an artist and as an endorser. Their support is always there. I can always feel it and the loyalty that they give back to you,” she said. “When you really feel the support and loyalty that your family is giving you, you will really stay with them for a long time.”
With the so-called end of “network wars”, Kim Chiu still doesn’t want to give a definite conclusion. She also assured that for the second half of 2023, it will be “more exciting” not just for “It’s Showtime” but for her personally.
