Jennylyn Mercado: “Anytime na gusto naming magka-baby ulit, puwedeng …”
JENNYLYN MERCADO – The actress said that the frozen embryo is ready if she and her husband Dennis Trillo want to have a second child.
The celebrity couple still have the frozen embryo from their surrogacy plan, but Jennylyn unexpectedly fell pregnant through natural means.
They welcomed their first child last May 2022.
In a report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday, Jennylyn said that the frozen embryo is still okay and can be implanted if she and her husband decide to have a second child together.
“Puwede pa po ‘yun. Naka-freeze lang ‘yung embryo,” Jennylyn said. “Anytime na gusto naming magka-baby ulit, puwedeng ako na. Puwedeng surrogate uli. Depende kung kakayanin ko pa.”

In the same interview, Jennylyn said that time management is a priority for her and her husband in taking care of their child. She added that it’s “imposible pa sa ngayon” to work together in a project.
It was last 2021 when the two first talked about their surrogacy plan in an interview with MEGA magazine.
At that time, the celebrity couple shared that they went to the United States not only to get vaccinated against COVID-19 but also to harvest an embryo and find a surrogate as well.
She added that she and her husband were able to harvest 5 eggs with the help of a fertility specialist, but only 1 egg was in “excellent condition”.
Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo have older sons from their previous relationships: Calix is Dennis’s son with Carlene Aguilar, while Jazz is Jennylyn’s child with actor Patrick Garcia.
