JAMES YAP – The basketball star recently shared in an interview that he wants to teach his son, Bimby Aquino, his “Big Game James” moves.
“After I received Bimbs’ long text message na sobrang touching, I replied to ask him if it’s okay to call so we can plan when to see each other,” James said in an interview on Inquirer Entertainment. “As of now, ‘di pa kami nakapagusap. Suspense muna.”
But Inquirer Entertainment reported that Bimby is more inclined to rejoin show business than follow his father’s “Euro steps” in the basketball court.

BIMBY AQUINO – Did the youngest son of former actress-host Kris Aquino signed a contract with Cornerstone Entertainment?
Cornerstone posted a photo on its social media account last Tuesday, June 27, 2023 where Bimby Aquino was spotted at what appeared to be a contract signing with talent agency.
Bimby is the son of Kris Aquino and James Yap.
In the said photo, Bimby was seen at an intimate gathering with the talent agency’s President Erickson Raymundo, Vice President Jeffrey Vadillo, and Senior Artist Handler Cristine Calawod.
Veteran host Boy Abunda, who also present at an intimate gathering at that time, stood as the guardian of the youngest son of the former actress-host.
“The Cornerstone fam with Bimb,” Cornerstone said in the caption of its social media post. “Exciting days are truly ahead for the young star! Mr. Boy Abunda stood in as a guardian for Bimb while Kris is still away.”

While some netizens congratulated Bimby in the comments section of Cornerstone’s post, others started mentioning Kris Aquino and even thanked the King of Talk for taking care of Bimby.
As of this writing, neither Bimby nor Cornerstone have yet to confirm the speculations.
Meanwhile, Bimby’s father James Yap opened up about his “renewed relationship” with his son in an Inquirer interview. James said that he’s extremely elated to hear from his son after not being in touch with him for 8 years.
“It’s the best Father’s Day gift ever. He said that he is looking forward to seeing his brother MJ again and meet his sister Francine soon,” James said. “He wished me luck in my new career as a public servant.”
MJ and Francine are James Yap’s children with his partner Michela Cazzola.
