HERLENE BUDOL – The actress-beauty queen revealed that her former boyfriend was the one who ended their relationship,
In an interview with Cabinet Files, she mentioned that “jealousy” was the reason for their breakup. According to Herlene, her manager Wilbert Tolentino told her that her ex-boyfriend felt insecure that’s why he decided to end their romance. But the guy would come back to her once he becomes wealthy.
“Siya po ang nakipag-break, nagselos po ata. Sabi ni Sir Wilbert Tolentino [manager ni Herlene], parang na-insecure daw po. Pero sabi po niya sa akin, babalikan niya ako kapag mayaman na siya,” she said. She added that they were together for five years, and he was her first boyfriend. Herlene admitted that she often thinks about him but feels that she should prioritize her career for now.
Currently, Herlene is preparing for the grand coronation of Miss Grand Philippines 2023, which will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena on July 19, 2023. She expressed her determination to do everything she can to win, despite having a strong feeling that she won’t be crowned. Herlene stated that if she doesn’t win, she plans to continue with her acting career.
According to her, Miss Grand Philippines will be her last beauty pageant. Meanwhile, the coronation night of Miss Grand Philippines 2023, which will be held this Thursday, will be attended by Nawat Itsaragrisil, the founder and president of Miss Grand International Organization, and the reigning Miss Grand International 2022, Isabella Menin from Brazil.
