Cesar Montano: “Masarap ang kinakasal.”
CESAR MONTANO – The seasoned actor said that he still wants to tie the knot again despite his age.
The actor is one of the stars of the upcoming TV5 series “Minsan Pa Nating Hagkan ang Nakaraan”. Other cast members include celebrity couple Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes.
Produced by Sari Sari Network Inc. in partnership with VIVA Entertainment, “Minsan Pa Nating Hagkan ang Nakaraan” will air on TV5 at 4:40 pm every Monday to Friday starting July 25, 2023.
It can be recalled that Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano got married in 2000, but their marriage was annulled in 2013.
According to a report on Manila Bulletin, the actor said at the sidelines of the media conference for the upcoming TV5 series at Gateway in Araneta City last July 21 that he wants to tie the knot again.
“Sana! I’m a very hopeful person. Masarap ang kinakasal. It’s not a bad idea lalo na kung single ka at wala kang ibang commitment. But we have to pray for it,” Cesar said.
In the same interview, the seasoned actor said that he’s thrilled to have rekindled his friendship with his ex-wife Sunshine Cruz. He shared that he’s happy where they are at the moment, adding that he’s “focused and head-on” in their relationship as friends.
Cesar also advised his three daughters Angelina Isabelle, Angel Franceska, and Samantha Angeline to finish their school and get a good job. According to him, he will not force his children to do what they want and what their passion is.
When asked about his daughters having a boyfriend, the actor said that they haven’t formally introduced their boyfriend to him yet but he trusts his children as they “have the mind of their own”.
The seasoned actor also said that he’s a proud grandfather after his son, actor Diego Loyzaga, had a child. According to him, he’s excited to see Diego’s child in person.
It can be recalled that Diego Loyzaga posted a photo on his social media account last month where he can be seen carrying a baby. At that time, Diego said that having a baby was the “best birthday gift ever”.
