MARCO GUMABAO AND CRISTINE REYES – The celebrity couple recently opened up about their relationship.
The celebrity couple appeared on actress-vlogger Bea Alonzo’s recent “#ByBea Lie Detector” episode where they both took on a lie detector test. This was their first guesting as a couple.
It was last April 2023 when Marco and Cristine made their relationship public.
The couple shared some stories about their relationship and also showed how sweet they are towards each other.
In an interview, Bea asked the couple who said “I love you” first. Marco told Bea that he did it when he and Cristine were on a trip in Siargao. According to him, he has been wanting to say it to her for a long time but he was looking for the right moment at that time.
The actor also shared photos of their trip in Siargao on social media, making their relationship Instagram-official. Apparently, he revealed that he posted those photos on their first monthsary as a couple.

When the actor was asked for the back story of the said post, he said that his partner was surprised by it at that time.
“Siyempre kinilig ako the whole day,” Cristine said about Marco’s gesture. “Buong linggo, buong buwan.“
Cristine, for her part, said that her partner surprised her on Valentine’s Day by taking her to a place that was decorated with rose petals on the floor. Marco shared that he did it for the first time in his life.
The couple also exchanged sweet words to each other during the interview with the actress-vlogger.
